Leap To Your Feet Appalachian Dancers with Soyaband
CROWN RAPPER dancers use flexible metal swords to perform the intricate figures of the traditional sword dances from Northumberland. They have created new dances in the same style, including the Famous Lancashire Ferret Dance. They have male, women and mixed teams who meet in Horwich to practice twice a month - contact Gill on firstname.lastname@example.org
ROLL BACK THE CARPET formed in the early 1990s when we had to clear a carpeted floor in our founder's home to practice! Since then we've moved to the Victoria Hall in Saltaire, West Yorkshire and accumulated or made up or adapted (sometimes all three) Appalachian dances, mostly in the 'Green Grass' style.
